The Carnegie Free Library Of Beaver Falls accepts donations of books, books on CD or Tape, Movies in Video or DVD format. Materials donated will become the property of the library and the Director will have the discretion as to what happens to them.
The library will not accept the following items:
- Reader's Digest Condensed books
- Textbooks older than 3 years
- Encyclopedia Sets
- Smelly or visibly moldy books
- Magazines
- Records
The library has a Recycle Bin behind the library in Campbell's Parking Lot for Recycling. Books that have paper covers can be put directly into the Green Bin. Hardbacks must have the covers removed; we only take the text block. Magazines can also be recycled.
We ask materials be packed in paper or plastic bags. If boxes are used, make sure they are no bigger than 3 foot by two foot and 12 inches deep. If you have any questions or wish to make arrangements for dropping off material, please call the library at 724.846.4340
