The library will be taking book donations for the book sale from May 13th through May 30th.

May 31st: Preview Night from 5:00-7:00pm Tickets $25, entry includes bag of books. Each additional bag is $15.
June 1st: Bag Sale from 10:00am- 4:00pm. Each bag of books is $15.
June 3rd 10:00-8:00pm $10 a bag.
June 4th 10:00-8:00pm $5 a bag.
90's Crafts for 90's Kids
June 8th from 1:00-3:00pm.
A program for adults.
Young adults and teens welcome.

Wonders of Wildlife
Presented by: The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium

For All Ages. Registration is REQUIRED. Walk-ins will not be allowed at the door.
The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium present Wonders of Wildlife! Discover fur, feathers, and scales in the introduction of some of the world’s most fascinating animals. Using LIVE ANIMALS from the Zoo, we will explore the physical characteristics of each animal while learning how they are uniquely adapted to their environments.
Registration begins June 27th, 2024.
Slime Time
Mad Science Presents: SLIME TIME
July 13th at 1:00pm for ages 5-12.
Registration required and will be available beginning June 13th.
Slime Time introduces the Mad Science slime recipe in this gooey chemistry class. Varied concoctions of slime will stir up in scientific style, and the properties of slime will be tested in a team-spirited fashion at the SLIME OLYMPICS!
Minute to Win It
June 21st at 1:00 and July 19th at 2:00pm.
Contestants ages 12+, will take part in a series of 60 second challenges.
Winners will receive a prize.

Social Worker at the Library
Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls has Jessi, our volunteer social worker, on Wednesdays from 12-2 pm! Come with all your questions. Jessi specializes in Social Security, Medicare, government forms, and resume writing. If you need help, Jessi is on it! This is a new, innovative social work/library collaboration.
Remember, library users (as in you!), are a big part of the success with our social worker. Bring your questions, demonstrate need for a social worker in the library and that will keep Jessi coming back!
