No experience necessary, all level players welcome!
Meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Play-K
Geared for children entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2026. Each session features circle time, opportunities to “play kindergarten”, and learn vital readiness skills aligned with the PA Pre-K Standards for literacy. Sept 9th, Oct 21st, Nov 18th, Dec 9th at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Caregivers are asked to remain in the library during the program and return to the room for a closing activity. Space is limited to 12 participating children per session. Registration required, please call or visit the library to register.

Banned Books Bingo

Halloween Storytime

Fall Fundraiser
Join us for our annual fall fundraiser, Saturday, November 1st at 6:30pm, as we celebrate the beauty of autumn and the power of stories. Together, we’ll turn over a new leaf for our library and community—one page at a time. Advances tickets are $20 and $25 at the door. There will be raffle baskets, our boutique, the knit shoppe and refreshments. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Gingerbread House Contest
December 1st thru the 13th. Creations can be dropped off at the library anytime during hours of operation between the 1st and the 13th. Winners will be announced on December 15th. Houses will be on display until the 23rd of December.

December 16th at 6:00pm Join us at the Library for a spooky storytime with stories, crafts and some treats! Registration required, call or visit the library to register.

Paws for Reading
Reserve your 15-minute slot to read with a registered therapy dog in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment. Call or visit the library to register.

Social Worker at the Library
Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls has Jessi, our volunteer social worker, on Wednesdays from 12-2 pm! Come with all your questions. Jessi specializes in Social Security, Medicare, government forms, and resume writing. If you need help, Jessi is on it! This is a new, innovative social work/library collaboration.
Remember, library users (as in you!), are a big part of the success with our social worker. Bring your questions, demonstrate need for a social worker in the library and that will keep Jessi coming back!
