Program Description: 

Beaver County is home to some of the most stunning abandoned landscapes in Western Pennsylvania.

By exploring these places, we can get closer to the people who came before us and the world they built. Join us for a look into the abandoned industrial, agricultural, and residential sites of Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

About the Author: 

Nolan Grimes has been fascinated with abandoned and historic places since high school, leading him to explore urban environments.

He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2021 and has published two books: Roadtrip: A Month Alone (2021) and A History of Buildings at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2022). Nolan, who holds a degree in Geographic Information Systems and works for Carnegie Mellon University.
