You asked for it. We're back. And we're bringing friends! Join your library system for an unforgettable adventure into the wonders of stream ecology.

Explore Brush Creek with Expert Guidance:
- Uncover the secrets of stream ecology alongside local biologist and herpetologist, April Claus
- Dress for the elements- mud, water, and discovery
- A limited amount of nets and containers will be available to use to catch, observe, and release critters (We recommend bringing a small container and net from home)
- Bonus! She will be bringing her friends that creep, hop, and slither.
Engage in interactive discovery tables with:
- Penn State Extension and 4H
- Delve deeper with Allegheny County's Creek Connections
- Learn about local tree conservation efforts with Reforest Our Future
- Step inside the Beaver County Conservation District's Mobile Education Center for an immersive experience

- Cool down with delicious Hawaiian shaved ice from THE BIG SNO!
- A portion of every purchase directly supports future library programs!
Parents and guardians!! SAFETY FIRST!
- To participate in the creek hike, you (or a trusted adult) must travel with your junior explorers.
- While not necessary, we recommend bringing a picnic blanket to have a seat and a towel or two to wipe your feet.
